ZONE CONFERENCE #1 ASHBURN,CENTREVILLE,POTOMAC

We started each zone conference at 8:20 a.m. All missionaries were in their seats at 8:10 singing and waiting for the conference to start. We started with a prayer and song and then all the missionaries each had the opportunity to shake Elder and Sister Richards hands. After this greeting we jumped right into the conference.

From about 8:45 until 1:00 we were instructed by Elder Richards from the scriptures. Sister Richards took about half an hour and was also very scripture based. I was asked to share my testimony on some topic during the day and Pres. Albright was assigned to address the subject of the 4 cornerstones of the Gospel.

We had lunch at 1:00 in the gym. And at 1:40 the sisters all met with Sister Richards and I in the Relief Society Room for about half-an-hour while Elder Richards started interviewing 5 missionaries and then Sister Richards interviewed their companions.

We finished around 5:00 and returned to the mission home. Had a nice dinner, some question and answer time and then off to bed.
