We had our mission home fireside on Sun. Aug 29. (it is always held the last sun of the month) We invited two young men. One named Ramon who was asked to bear his testimony. He gave a sweet, humble testimony. The other one is named CJ. He is a recent convert. He is incredible. A powerful testimony and a burning desire to go on a mission now. He sounded like a life long member. He really touched everyones hearts with his passionate story and love of the gospel. He met the missionaries in the parking lot of his apartment building. He was interested right away. He fulfilled his commitment as soon as asked. He read the Book of Mormon in 2 or 3 days. And has read it a second time and also the D&C. It was a joy to listen to him. We had a hugh crowd, about 80, which really fills the house. These are great times- the firesides. Hearing new investigators is the best.CJ speaking
Elder Lee conducting. He's great
Crowded--clear into the entry, the kitchen and the upstairs hall.
Everyone loves the treats afterwards.
