KEYSTONE-WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

Each week we publish a KEYSTONE newsletter that is sent to all the missionaries. Elder Bryson, one of the office Sr. missionaries wrote the article this week. (there are lots of stats and other things also, but only wanted to share the articles.)

Elders and Sisters,

Elder William R. Walker of the First Quorum of the Seventy has said the follow-

ing: " President Monson is warm and attentive, with a wonderful sense of humor

and a spontaneous love for people. I think as a prophet he is irresistible. He goes

out in the kitchen to thank people who prepared a meal; he gives a thumbs-up ac-

knowledging your effort; he shakes hands with everyone he can reach and high-

fives the youth. When he interacts with children, he almost always bends down

so that he is at eye level. If everybody were like President Monson, we'd have

heaven on earth."

Personal Secretary to President Monson, Lynne Cannegieter has said of President

Monson: "Whatever his calling has been, he has devoted 100 percent of his en-

ergy to it. And he really cares about people. He has always forfeited his personal

time to help those in need, providing blessings, compassion, and companionship."

Dear Sisters and Elders, this is the example our prophet has set for us. He has

been called of God to do God's will and to help bring God's children back to him.

We likewise have been called to do the same thing. Each of our Heavenly Fa-

ther's children are precious to him. No matter what they may have done, or mis-

takes they may have made, he is willing, through the Atonement of his Beloved

Son, to forgive those come unto him. It is our responsibility and challenge to

love all of his children even as He does, and to do all that we can to bring them

back to him.

May we prepare ourselves each day to do his work by being obedient, by seeking

to live so that his Spirit might guide us as we go about His work. May we be 100

percent committed to this great work. I pray that we might ask ourselves if we

are doing all we can in His service and that our resounding answer might be

"Yes!"

May the Lord bless you all, we love each of you,

Elder Bryson
