We were blessed to have dinner with all 8 of our stake Presidents and their wives, Elder Bruce Carlson and his wife Vicki, and Elder and Sister Marriott at the beautiful Ritz Carlton.
The meal was quite remarkable, a presentation itself. We love all of the stake presidents in our mission and I love visiting with their wives. Everyone of them is warm and friendly and have made me feel so welcome in the mission. Elder Carlson, also of the Seventy, lives in the mission boundaries and his sweet wife, Vickie, works at the mission office 1 or 2 days a week.
After the dinner, we headed to the McLean Stake Center for a Leadership meeting with all 8 stakes, Stake Presidencies, Bishops, Ward Mission Leaders, High Councelors over mission work. There were about 300 in attendance. Elder Richards taught them on Ward Councils and mission work. Great meeting.
