SENIORS ARE SENSATIONAL

We enjoyed a Senior Missionary Dinner at the Mission home on May 20,2011. Our Senior missionaries are all just the greatest people on earth. It takes such devoted and spiritual men and women to come and serve at their own expense and leave their families and grandbabies and I just admire everyone of them. Some of them are serving 2nd and 3rd missions. Modern Day Sons of Alma-14 yr missionaries. We always enjoy getting together and visiting. We loved having the Burtons bring their nephew, Matt Bowman. He just graduated from George Washington and has been working with the church on the Joseph Smith Papers. He spoke for about half an hour and was just fascinating. Pres. Burtons Sister and Brother in Law also came. We also enjoyed having Sister Holmgrens Mother and Sister attend. This was the Holmgrens last official Senior dinner. We plan on inviting them until we are released. They also spoke and shared beautiful thoughts and testimonies. We will sure miss them at the office.
