ICY WEATHER

ICE was covering everything when we woke up on Wednesday. It was very pretty. Icecycles were hanging off of everything: the umbrella, the railings, the car bumpers, and the plants were encased in ice. The ground was like an ice-skating rink. I drove to Woodbridge and Fredericksberg with Sis Bryson and as I drove down Ox road I kept seeing big sheets of ice falling off of the wires across the road. It was a bit scary at first. But really fun to watch. The layer of ice on cars was also flying off and hitting the road in sheets. I'm definitely not in Vegas anymore. ice covered berries

Holding onto the banister didn't help

We have had really cold weather. There has not been a lot of snow, but the temperature is low and the humidity is high and that combination makes it pretty cold. I'm constantly reminding the missionaries "warm coats, hats, gloves, ears covered".
